About The Ingredients:
Certified Organic Shea Butter: The high concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins make shea butter an ideal ingredient for softening skin, especially when it comes to healing eczema. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties.
Certified Organic Macadamia Oil:Macadamia Oil is high in monounsaturated fatty acids, including Oleic Acid (Omega 9) – both these moisturising, regenerating, softening and healing on the skin.
Certified Organic Castor Oil: Castor oil oil is amazing for affected areas such as baby’s bums where there is a case of nappy rash. Castor oil is well known to use for acne and eczema and therefore has the same benefits goodness for nappy rash. It can also provide relief from the pain associated with nappy rash.
Certified Organic Calendula Oil: Calendula oil has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that make it like magic when it comes to healing wounds, soothing eczema, and even relieving nappy/diaper rash. It’s also used as an antiseptic. A study in 2012 found that while an aloe vera cream was effective in treating diaper rash, a calendula ointment was significantly more beneficial.
Non Nano Zinc Oxide: Zinc oxide is the active ingredient in many nappy rash products. They are usually applied to the rash throughout the day to soothe and protect your baby’s skin. Zinc has anti-inflammatory properties and increases the resurfacing of a skin wound with new skin growth. Zinc has long been used as a soothing and anti-itch agent for the treatment of nappy/diaper rash. We a non nano zinc oxide powder mixed into our cream.
Sweet Almond Oil: Almond oil is used to help treat common skin conditions, such as dermatitis and eczema. Studies have shown that products containing sweet almond oil reduce the symptoms of moderate or severe hand dermatitis.
Vitamin E oil: Vitamin E may alleviate the dryness, itching, and flaking associated with nappy rash and eczema. Vitamin E helps support the immune system, cell function, and skin health. It’s an antioxidant, making it effective at combating the effects of free radicals produced by the metabolism of food and toxins in the environment.
Lavender Essential Oil: Due to lavender’s antifungal properties and ability to reduce inflammation, it can help keep nappy rash under control. Lavender oil can also be used to treat psoriasis and eczema. Lavender helps cleanse your skin and lessen redness and irritation.
Lemon Essential Oil: Has antiseptic and cleansing properties.
Tea Tree Essential Oil: This oil is also a powerful disinfectant with strong anti-fungal, antibacterial, and antimicrobial properties.
