To get the best results from your nappies we recommend following these 4 simple steps:
1. Dry Pail
Remove solids from the nappy, separate inserts from the shell and place in a dry pail (any basket with holes).
2. Pre-Wash
Run a short wash cycle every 1-2 days. Spin dry and put in a different dry pail until your main wash day.
3. Main-wash cycle
Every 3-4 days, run a long main wash cycle.
4. Dry
Inserts - Can be dried in the sun or tumble-dried.
Shells - Line dry in the shade (high heat will affect the laminate).
we use this as a night nappy layered with some other inserts and it has solved our wet sheet problem. It large size and so fits well into toddlerhood. Plus the Monarch team are fantastic to deal with if any issues or questions arrive - highly recommend!

We got these for our 5kg 3 month old to use at night, and they work great for wee, however have had issues with it containing poo! We've tried frills in and out, perhaps they'll work better later once she's bigger, as she tends to get all her poo to one side of the nappy

Lovely print. Really disappointed with the shape of the inner tummy panel though. It's far too deeply curved, and it basically pops up and out. Means the front of the nappy doesn't sit nice and flat at all. Would have been such an easy thing to see and address during test process too! I could see it was going to be an issue even before I put the nappy on my big little one. I know it's am easy fix to the design. I have other nappies (Kekoa premium...perfect in every way!) where the inner tummy PUL is cut more flat across (more width in the centre), and everything suits beautifully flat, even when my young ones are running around.

We are long-time users of Monarch and the previous brand, but these hybrids are by far my favourite night nappies! They fit my tall, 16kg toddler perfectly with plenty of room to grow. They are lovely and soft, and he tells me they are very comfy. Love the prints too. We rarely have leaks with a hemp and bamboo insert.
